About the Team
OUR STORY
Freedom Verses was co-created by Audrey Kuo and Povi-Tamu Bryant, who bring rich personal and professional experiences to their work in community empowerment and justice. Audrey, a disabled trans artist and abolitionist, leverages storytelling and transformative coaching to help individuals connect with their values and navigate life's challenges. Povi-Tamu, a Black queer nonbinary Angeleno with roots in community organizing, focuses on leadership development and organizational capacity building. Their team includes consultants jay brisette and Krystal Torres-Covarrubias, who contribute expertise in training, facilitation, curriculum design, and community building. Together, they offer coaching, facilitation, and transformative justice approaches to nurture leadership, organizational growth, and collective liberation across diverse communities.
