About the Team
OUR STORY
Yves, originally from France and now based in Taiwan, has been passionate about tinkering since childhood, dismantling everything from toys to engines. This curiosity led him to study industrial design and begin a career as a consultant for automotive suppliers, designing components for major brands like Ford, Audi, and Volvo. After gaining experience in Sweden working with Volvo, he embraced freelancing in 2015, building his agency to help inventors worldwide transform ideas into products. Settling more permanently in Taiwan, Yves established a prototyping lab to support his designs. His fascination with FPV drones sparked the creation of Fractal Engineering in 2020, beginning with the successful Whoop balance board.
