**The Challenge** Today’s business climate makes it exceedingly challenging to evaluate and handle privacy regulatory risks. Companies are confronted with constantly evolving laws, varying regulations, and heightened consumer demands for personal data protection. The data privacy landscape is approaching a critical juncture. Companies require powerful tools now more than ever to navigate the complicated privacy landscape. In the U.S., 13 states have enacted their own privacy laws, with eight of these laws being passed in just 2023. On a global scale, 17 countries implemented new privacy regulations from February 2021 to March 2023, accompanied by record-setting fines. Fines related to the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) increased by 50% from 2022 to 2023. **The Outcome** The Common Sense Privacy Wizard and Dashboard is an enterprise software suite leveraging AI to provide businesses with a straightforward, cost-effective approach to understanding their privacy options and managing risks. The Wizard leads users through a set of questions to collect information about their business activities and to draft privacy policies and labels for the App Store and Play Store. An upgrade to a Privacy Dashboard is available, which assesses privacy practices and highlights actionable insights as well as potential compliance gaps in relation to best practices and new regulations. Developed using foundational intellectual property from Common Sense Media, a leading child advocacy organization, the platform holds the largest collection of privacy evaluations globally.

Challenge Applied Stem Cell is a biotechnology firm focused on genome editing, iPSC technologies, and advanced cell therapy research. The company offers a wide range of research tools, kits, and services aimed at academic and biopharma researchers. However, their website encountered usability issues typical of intricate scientific e-commerce platforms. The purchasing process and access to products were not fully optimized, leading to an inconsistent user experience across various pages, especially between informational content and commercial transactions. Refining a mission-critical delivery portal

### The Challenge A Salesforce Consulting Partner focused on the building materials and construction sectors enlisted Flower Press to update a community portal for a prominent construction brand. This portal is utilized daily by customers to access essential order and delivery details, making reliability and clarity vital. However, it had grown increasingly difficult to manage and scale over time. Its reliance on outdated Aura components and custom-built features complicated maintenance and hindered significant usability improvements. The data structure was unclear, and stakeholders required better design guidance to confidently progress into development. Flower Press originally assisted in creating the community over five years ago, and this redesign presented a strategic chance to modernize the experience using the Salesforce Lightning Design System, ensuring alignment with current Experience Cloud UX standards. ### The Outcome The revamped Experience Cloud portal offered a much cleaner and more intuitive experience for users while providing stakeholders with the clarity and confidence needed for seamless implementation. Flower Press produced a fully Lightning-compliant design system that removed legacy custom components, enhanced maintainability, and laid a scalable groundwork for future expansion. With a streamlined information architecture and improved search functions, the portal's daily use became less cumbersome, making it easier for users to access order and delivery information. Consequently, the client reported a decrease in customer service inquiries related to usability issues. The project was completed on schedule, with consistent and clear communication throughout.
