Flipit Media is an independent video production company based in Sri Lanka, established in 2010 by entrepreneurs Julian Zufer and Shamaal Panagoda. The company aims to provide top-quality video productions while keeping prices affordable for clients. The founders started their business with a central question: How can we provide cinema- and broadcast-quality videos at a low cost while still earning a living? To address this challenge, they invested time in research and the latest digital technologies, which enhance quality while minimizing costs and waste through an efficient workflow. This approach makes their operation "lean and mean," allowing them to be highly adaptable and produce a substantial amount of quality video content quickly. One of Flipit Media’s goals is to elevate local commercials to the level of blockbuster advertisements, reflecting their slogan of “think national” rather than creating typical promotional ads.
