First Call Logistics

First Call Logistics began within the Horton Fruit Company, gaining firsthand experience in freight execution from the shipper’s perspective. This foundation drives their approach today, offering coordinated transportation, cold chain, and warehousing services with a focus on precise timing, clear communication, and reliable follow-through. With over twenty years of expertise managing complex supply chains and specialized teams for various freight types, including temperature-sensitive goods through First Call FRESH, the company addresses the unique needs of each shipment. Since 2005 and under the leadership of Co-CEOs Chris and Kyle Bland from 2019, First Call has expanded its capabilities, refined processes, and built a strong infrastructure to support industries nationwide, always emphasizing closing communication gaps to ensure seamless freight execution.
