On April 13, 2018, Portage College’s Museum of Aboriginal People’s Art & Artifacts (MOAPAA) launched a permanent exhibition showcasing the Professional Native Indian Artists Inc., also referred to as the Indian Group of Seven. This exhibition's opening was a significant milestone for the college, highlighting the group's considerable impact on the recognition of North American art. A key aim of the exhibition was to illustrate how Indigenous peoples reclaim their identity by reconnecting with lost culture through art. This theme of reclamation through artistic expression was also integrated into the promotional campaign for the exhibition's grand opening. Our team collaborated with MOAPAA’s specialists to ensure that the artworks and their inspirational concepts were accurately and respectfully represented. The campaign concept focused on the interconnectedness of art, culture, and experience, incorporating the artists’ own words to reinforce this message while keeping attention on the Indian Group of Seven. Print and digital advertisements combined quotations and artwork from the featured artists, specifically targeting art enthusiasts, students, and individuals from Indigenous backgrounds, while press releases and tailored messages reached out to influencers in the media and cultural sectors.

ev+ AGENCY has established a strategic marketing alliance with the Big Valley Jamboree (BVJ) for almost 30 years. This weekend-long music festival features some of the top acts in country music and has been recognized as the country music event of the year four times by the Canadian Country Music Association. Our team is actively engaged in all aspects of BVJ's marketing and promotional strategies, which includes developing the festival's branding, preparing materials for sponsors, creating marketing campaigns, and designing and managing web and digital assets. We also handle the creation and management of advertising on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Google, as well as media buying across various markets and formats.
