York Maine Art in the Park

Redesigned the logo for the York (Maine) Art Association's Annual Art in the Park event. The previous logo was dark and emphasized the park rather than the art. The new design features a more vibrant and striking representation of the diverse art available at the one-day event, while still reflecting the park's surroundings. It also incorporates colors and fonts from the York Art Association's logo to ensure brand consistency.

YAY! York Art Youth TShirt Design

York Art Youth is the youth-oriented initiative of the York Art Association, which has an average member age of 68. Recognizing the need to draw in younger audiences and families as their membership ages, they decided that their new programming warranted a distinct logo and visual identity to better resonate with this younger crowd. Thus, York Art Youth (YAY) was created. The name is straightforward, reflects the Association and the area, and features a catchy acronym. While we maintained the brand colors and fonts of the York Art Association, we incorporated bold, handwritten letters to emphasize the acronym YAY. This version of the logo, along with additional visuals, was designed specifically for their annual art camp t-shirts. The graphic was printed in solid white for campers and in gold for counselors, with gold being another color from the York Art Association's palette.

Hampton Ford Hyundai is situated just 1 mile from the New Hampshire coast. As a family-owned dealership known for outstanding consumer reviews, we aimed to design a logo that captures the essence of its coastal location while also conveying themes of trust, family, and professionalism. We updated the logo to feature clean, simple lines and adjusted its format to better fit the smaller, often horizontal spaces required for a dealership's branding (like on websites and vehicle decals). One issue with the previous logo was its overwhelming emphasis on the seaside, which overshadowed the dealership's name in certain contexts. In the new design, we prioritized the dealership name and incorporated wave and beach elements to enhance its visibility. The color palette has been deliberately chosen to be richer, aligning with hues that evoke feelings of trust, comfort, family, water, and professionalism.
