Emphie’s journey began 12 years ago when CEO Marlena Chlost sought to solve a unique challenge at the Chess Academy in Gliwice — creating tailored tasks for over 1,000 chess students annually. Facing costly and complex outsourcing proposals, they boldly built their own software platform, ChessGrow, from scratch. This hands-on, trial-and-error experience shaped their approach, blending the mindsets of investors, product owners, and CTOs. Growing from that foundation, Emphie expanded its talented team across Gliwice and London, developing original products and client solutions worldwide.
