Rancher Labs Global Expansion (Employer of Record)

After assisting Rancher with a few projects in 2015, we were engaged again in 2019 to aid in their extensive expansion throughout EMEA, APAC, and North America. Our responsibilities included recruiting candidates across various fields such as Product Marketing, Sales, PreSales, Technical Support, and Professional Services. In addition to talent acquisition, we also offered compliant local payroll services for 14 employees in seven countries. Over 18 months, we successfully placed 22 candidates, with 82% still employed at Rancher. This effort contributed to their acquisition by SUSE in 2020, whose talent acquisition initiatives we also support. Userlane End-To-End Recruitment and Expansion

Userlane

Userlane, a software vendor from Germany specializing in digital adoption, sought to hire a VP Product in the UK or USA, areas where they lacked a legal entity. Emerald successfully placed a qualified candidate in the UK and facilitated their onboarding and payroll in a compliant manner using their Employer of Record (EoR) services. This end-to-end solution allowed Userlane to address two challenges simultaneously: sourcing the right candidate and managing their remote onboarding, all without needing to establish a new office or entity outside their headquarters. Following the initial hire, Userlane entrusted Emerald with locating and onboarding seven additional candidates in the UK, where they did not have a physical presence. As Userlane experienced rapid growth in the UK and abroad, they established their own legal entity, with Emerald smoothly transferring employee management. Qualtrics Talent Acquisition

Emerald began its partnership with Qualtrics in June 2015, with Ian McVey as their sole salesperson in the UK, supported by teams in Ireland. Initially, we were hired on a retained basis to establish their first UK sales team. The team of seven created by Emerald achieved the fastest growth of any enterprise team starting from scratch in Qualtrics' history, experiencing 300% growth year-to-date and ranking among the top five billing teams globally. Due to this success, we have been asked to fill several senior positions, including an SME for their Voice of the Customer solution—the UK’s first role of this type—as well as the Head of PreSales and Head of Sales Operations for the EMEA region. Qualtrics continues to engage Emerald as their exclusive recruitment partner and trusted advisor to support their ambitious growth in Europe. To date, we have completed over 40 placements, with 92% of candidates remaining with the company for at least one year.
