The Spanish footwear sector is entering a mature phase where digital strategy emphasizes smarter business decisions beyond mere sales increases. Recently, alongside NitsNets, we unveiled the first comprehensive study on digital transformation and ecommerce within Spain's footwear industry, sparking lively in-person discussions among leading brands and professionals. These conversations highlighted key challenges such as balancing offline influences like fit and comfort with technological advances, addressing underdeveloped B2B wholesale management, and embracing the coexistence of own ecommerce, marketplaces, and retail through specialized roles. The emerging barefoot trend also sparked debate, reflecting the sector's evolving market dynamics.
