The client, based in the United Kingdom, sought assistance from Ecomsutligs to develop and expand her ecommerce store on Amazon. This was a particularly difficult period due to the uncertainties brought on by Covid-19. With a budget of $15,000, the client aimed to generate a minimum of $1,500 in monthly income. Our team created a strategy that aligned with her short and long-term goals. Although the budget was relatively low given the high logistics costs and potential delays, we remained hopeful about finding a suitable product for her. We succeeded in identifying a small, lightweight product that offered a substantial 45% profit margin before tax. Typically, we budget for at least two inventory cycles, but due to the product's size, we allocated the budget to air shipping, which helped decrease restocking times. We launched the product using PPC advertising, and within a week, it became the top seller in its category. The initial PPC strategy was aggressive for the first two weeks, but once organic orders represented 70% of total sales, we started optimizing PPC costs. Within a couple of months, monthly revenue reached GBP 17,000, exceeding our expectations. After achieving strong rankings, the client engaged us on a monthly retainer. By June 2020, the client's return on investment was fully realized, and she was earning GBP 2,500 each month.
