Alex initially came to us with three main objectives: to revamp his website, give it a contemporary look that reflected his brand, and transition it from an outdated platform to WordPress. He also requested a specific section to highlight his recent client case studies, as he has numerous impressive examples from companies like Adobe, Spotify, and Lenovo. To fulfill these objectives, we followed our standard project process, which began with wireframing, followed by UX design, visual design, and finally website development and testing. Throughout the process, we made sure to keep his vision and goals front and center, aligning them with our favored punk theme.
The first step was creating wireframes, which allowed us to determine the structure and layout of the new website, forming the basis for the UX design. We concentrated on improving navigation, enhancing user interaction, and ensuring mobile responsiveness to deliver a smooth browsing experience on all devices. To achieve the energetic vibe he wanted for his new site, we incorporated elements like paint splatter, punk imagery, and bright blue accents. He was thrilled with the refresh of his existing brand and later applied these same design features across his other marketing materials for brand consistency. Once the wireframes were approved, our design team worked to bring the website to life. Drawing from his brand identity and personality, we developed a modern, punk-inspired design that reflected his dynamic, rebellious nature, and authenticity. We utilized bold typography, vibrant colors, and paint splatters to encapsulate his brand image. After finalizing the design, we moved on to the development phase, migrating his site to WordPress for improved functionality, flexibility, and easier management.
