He eventually moved into the private sector, serving as the corporate controller for a publicly traded company before launching his own CPA practice. He possesses an MBA in Finance, a Master’s in Taxation from Florida International University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico. He is licensed as a CPA in Florida, holds a Series 65 investment advisor license, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
