We needed a software solution that could integrate all the requirements of our daily projects. Since we were relying on three separate software systems for our monthly subscriptions, we wanted to create an in-house software that would consolidate all tasks under one system that we could control, allowing us to optimize and adapt as needed. **SOLUTION** What was their involvement? Initially, we held three complimentary meetings with Dreamer Technoland to clarify our objectives. During these discussions, the team provided a summary of our conversations, enabling us to refine, modify, or add any necessary elements. After finalizing the requirements, we had subsequent calls. Dreamer Technoland successfully developed our software, which allows our team members to clock in and out on-site, manage material requests, and produce daily reports. They also built a mobile version for both iOS and Android, so team members in the field can access the system via their smartphones or tablets, alongside a desktop application. Dreamer Technoland created extensive coding to support these various applications. Who is on their team? We collaborated closely with the president of Dreamer Technoland, who has been actively engaged in all our meetings. He works alongside 3 to 4 other team members on our project. **COLLABORATION** How did you come to partner with Dreamer Technoland? I discovered Dreamer Technoland through LinkedIn. They responded promptly to our inquiries and were well-versed in the construction industry, which helped us save time in explaining our needs. **INVESTMENT** What has been your investment with them? We have invested approximately $30,000 to $40,000 in this project. **ENGAGEMENT STATUS** What is the current status of this partnership? Our collaboration began in November 2023. The software has been completed, and we are still working with Dreamer Technoland to explore expansion ideas. **RESULTS & FEEDBACK** What results can you share that illustrate the impact of this work? Dreamer Technoland has effectively launched the app, which has resulted in a 10% reduction in labor hours that were previously unrecorded. We can now track employee work via GPS instead of relying on manual clock-ins. The app provides a GPS location alongside captured images. Communication with vendors has also improved, replacing email for discussing missing materials or daily concerns; all material requests are now organized within the app. Each order includes a purchase order number and details, along with a tracking history. When an employee requests materials, I can verify the tracking to check if items are indeed missing. The system retains the order until materials are received and confirmed at the job site. Overall, it provides a clear framework that keeps our team unified and communicative. Dreamer Technoland quickly grasped our requirements. **PROJECT MANAGEMENT** How did Dreamer Technoland handle project management? Our communication has been through Zoom and Microsoft Teams. They provided a budget that they adhered to, with any additional work being outside the original scope. Dreamer Technoland honored the original pricing for every task we assigned them, and we received updates on progress every 2 to 3 weeks. They involve us in the process and foster a great working relationship. They also record our discussions and refer back to them, ensuring any missed points are addressed through follow-up questions. **IMPRESSIONS** What impressed you the most? Dreamer Technoland is more than just a team of programmers; they thoroughly understand our operations to deliver the most effective and efficient solutions. For example, since most of our team operates on job sites, they required a straightforward and quick-to-use application. Dreamer Technoland also comprehends our communication needs with vendors and has streamlined that process. They are doing an excellent job and should continue their hands-on approach. **AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT** Are there any aspects they could enhance? I can't identify any areas for improvement for Dreamer Technoland. **ADVICE** Do you have any recommendations for their future clients? Be sure to communicate everything clearly with Dreamer Technoland at the earliest opportunity.
