Teddy Attila, a Cotonou-based filmmaker since 2011, has built a remarkable career as a director, screenwriter, and producer. From 2017 to 2023, he played a pivotal role in the United States’ Millennium Challenge Corporation compact in Benin, overseeing video production and storytelling for the $391 million initiative that modernized Benin's power sector. Traveling extensively, Teddy engaged with diverse communities to capture impactful project outcomes. Proficient in multiple roles including cameraman, photographer, drone operator, and editor, he communicates fluently in English, French, Fon, and Mina. Known for his warm approach, Teddy has interviewed government ministers and filmed village children alike. Alongside development work, he's created award-winning films, collaborating with Canal+. His ambition remains to broaden his storytelling reach across West Africa and beyond, fostering positive change.
