Brand Strategy and Identity Design for Uco Valley
Giallonero is the wine brand from Finca Benteveo, situated in the Uco Valley of Mendoza, Argentina, an area celebrated for its exceptional terroir and wines. The Tejada family, owners of this emerging winery, engaged us to develop its brand identity, label, and packaging for its boutique wine line. Our focus was on both domestic sales and export, entering a competitive Argentine wine market characterized by a plethora of high-quality offerings, not only in terms of wine but also in design, communication, and overall experience.
**STRATEGY**
In examining the current stylistic trends, we strategically opted for a "classical modernity" approach, aiming for a timeless essence that reflects the quality of a signature wine from a boutique producer. As a new entity, the winery faced challenges regarding brand recognition, so we concentrated on creating unique elements that could be systematically applied, seeking differentiation and a "sophisticated impact."

**BRAND & LABEL**
The brand identity was crafted to align with the strategic goals of the label, which serves as the primary means of conveying both commercial and emotional connections. We carefully chose fonts, colors, and finishes to strike a balance between modernity, tradition, and exclusivity. A key feature of the Giallonero brand is its illustration system, designed to enhance the logo and other elements, contributing to a distinctive, cohesive identity with recognizable and memorable characteristics.
