THE SOLUTION: To meet our goals, we took the following steps: We had a very limited timeframe to prepare, having been brought on board just four weeks before the Kickstarter launch. During this time, we collaborated with the client to finalize public relations materials, including product availability for reviews, press releases, visuals, social media content, and interview guides. As the campaign went live, we had already arranged influencer video reviews (on YouTube) of the product to coincide with the launch, which was critical to the campaign’s success, given its short duration of only four weeks. Our goals were to create awareness about the discount code and related promotion through various media placements and ensure the message was disseminated ahead of Cyber Monday. **THE SOLUTION** To achieve these goals, we implemented two main strategies: Personalized outreach - we created tailored media lists focused on health, lifestyle, and tech sectors, as well as editors who specialize in deal coverage and Black Friday/Cyber Monday events. Broad distribution - we leveraged a premium newswire service with a strong presence in the US to ensure timely delivery to journalists.
