Growing Organic Revenue by 2,400%
We boosted Knix's organic revenue significantly, by 2,400%, through strategic content creation and SEO optimization. From the outset, we recognized the opportunities for Knix, a brand revolutionizing period underwear. They should be recognized not only for their product innovation but also as a trusted authority on menstruation experiences and the preferences of menstruators regarding period underwear. To achieve this, we developed a comprehensive resource hub featuring well-researched and medically reviewed articles aimed at ranking for the most frequently searched keywords on Google. Despite modern advancements, stigmas and misinformation about menstrual health still persist, making SEO an ideal channel for disseminating approachable, honest, and valuable information. We selected keywords based on SEM analytics that were driving significant revenue, creating articles on topics like “Why am I spotting 1 week after my period?” among many others to address these timeless concerns. Additionally, we incorporated ‘micro-conversions’ into our SEO content to guide visitors through their purchasing journey. As period underwear is an innovative product in a traditional market, our content also had to educate and motivate readers to transition from conventional options. We included internal links, Calls-to-Action, and product showcases to connect our articles back to the brand and, crucially, its products, thereby fostering trust and easing the hesitancy towards trying a new offering amidst established disposable options. As Knix ventured into new product categories in the years that followed, we employed the same strategy for items like wireless bras, anti-chafing shorts, shapewear, leakproof swimwear, and others. Even years after our initial efforts, we continue to refine and enhance the top-performing content to maintain and improve search rankings while delivering additional value to readers.
