In undertaking a bold initiative to develop an advanced Android tablet application for a valued client, Team Devomech Solutions crafted an app that seamlessly interacts with the client’s custom hardware via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The application was designed to enable users to set personalized fitness goals, maintain a database for individual information, monitor real-time data exchange related to workouts, and present exercise statistics through attractive graphs. Utilizing the Iterative Software Development model, the structure of the app allowed for flexibility and continuous improvements throughout the development process. To enhance user experience, the team built the app to automatically search for and connect to the hardware at startup, and to restore the connection if it was interrupted, simplifying the setup process. Concepts. Vision. Solution. With the aim of improving the drink ordering process on Android tablets, our esteemed client engaged Devomech Solutions to develop a tailored Flutter mobile application. The objective was to link the app seamlessly to a hardware device for transmitting order information. Our team of application developers worked diligently to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface, enabling customers to easily choose their drink type, size, and flavors, as well as input their name for a smooth ordering experience. Furthermore, we implemented automatic scanning and reconnection functions to maintain consistent communication with the hardware device.
