Docker
Docker originated as an open-source initiative that developed an ecosystem around Linux containers, transforming the way applications are created, delivered, and operated. After moving towards commercialization, Docker achieved remarkable success, reaching a valuation of $1 billion last year. DesignMap first partnered with Docker when it was a nascent startup, with more decorative plants in the office than employees! Our collaboration focused on addressing the hurdles faced by a rapidly growing tech startup, harmonizing the disparate product designs that emerged from the fast-paced environment typical of such companies. Throughout our partnership, we have worked together on various projects, including the initial version of DockerHub, assisting their internal design team, exploring how design could be most beneficial within the organization, and other initiatives like Docker Store. "With DesignMap's thorough research into our user base to enhance the developer experience, the launch of DockerHub was a tremendous success, well-received by both our audience and the media. On the very first day, account registrations surged by an astonishing 5000%." - Scott Johnston, COO of Docker, Inc. Discover more about our approach here.
