AC Energy: Brand Identity & Environment Graphics

AC Energy, a subsidiary of Ayala Corporation, engaged Design For Tomorrow to develop a brand and cultural framework as it embarks on diversification and transformation. The brief indicated that the logo would remain unchanged, though other aspects of the brand were open for exploration. To gather insights and perceptions about the company's branding, DFT conducted organization-wide interviews, leading to the creation of a transformation framework and cultural integration plan. We then assisted in formulating a strategy for brand architecture as the company segmented its current initiatives, acquisitions, and expansion efforts into two categories: conventional and renewable power generation. In the second phase of our branding project, we developed "The AC Energy Way"—a clear vision and cultural platform aimed at unifying everyone’s mindset. The project continued with the enhancement of brand assets, introducing new typography, colors, visual styles, and graphic elements inspired by various power sources, including geothermal, thermal, solar, and wind. We also redesigned the company’s collateral materials, merchandise, and corporate giveaways, and worked with AC Energy’s interior design team to incorporate brand elements into wayfinding and environmental graphics.
