Portfolio

San Jose Spotlight - Website Design

Unknown

San Jose Spotlight is the first nonprofit digital news organization in the South Bay, supported by the community. Their goal is to transform journalism by delivering independent, ethical, and unbiased political news coverage. They initially approached us with just a name and a vision for a progressive publication. They needed assistance in developing their concept into a recognizable brand and sought a partner to help them with strategy and materials to attract new investors and engage the local community. As a news outlet, San Jose Spotlight prioritized building a trustworthy image, especially amidst growing public skepticism towards mass media. We crafted a visual identity that combines traditional elements with contemporary design. The logo features a magnifying glass, symbolizing the organization’s commitment to the “search for truth,” while the tagline reinforces this mission. Elements such as typography, color, and layout convey a sophisticated, editorial style that is both fresh and bold. Branding | Logo Design | Web Design. City of San Jose - Parks & Rec. Depart. Branding

Unknown

The Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Services department is one of the most engaged departments in San Jose, offering outreach services to various community members, including children, adults, families, and seniors. To enhance their presence, they aimed to develop a fresh identity that would set them apart from other departments and maintain consistency in their marketing efforts. This project involved creating a new departmental logo and a collection of templates for flyers, presentations, postcards, and more. While all materials needed to align with the existing branding of the City of San Jose, we successfully helped them create a distinctive and original brand. The new branding highlights both the great outdoors and the concept of community connection. For more information about this project, visit https://designim.com/work/.

DevOps World - Developer Conference Event Branding

Unknown

Our assignment was to revitalize the DevOps brand, moving away from its former corporate style. We needed to update the event with fresh, cutting-edge, and striking visuals. The new branding should reflect the diverse skills within the global development community. Ultimately, we aimed to create an environment that was as engaging as the experiences these developers produce—one that was inventive, vibrant, and uplifting. Thankfully, the client was receptive to bold concepts, allowing us to fully express our creativity without constraints.
