In collaboration with ATOM's IT Manager and with a focus on a 'cloud first' approach, our team spearheaded the design, implementation, and ongoing support of ATOM's new corporate-wide area network and fleet solution.

Business Critical Asset Management Upgrade for BP

British Petroleum

BP and Husky Energy officially engaged Denver to carry out the project. On June 24, 2017, the joint venture partners set a go-live date for July 24, 2018, and agreed on a budget. Over the years of utilizing IBM Maximo version 4.1, BP-H had developed several standalone applications and interfaces with other systems. The upgrade project required Denver to evaluate how these applications, interfaces, and reports were utilized in the current version of Maximo, and to align these needs with IBM Maximo version 7.6. Denver undertook a thorough process of mapping every business process utilizing IBM Maximo or the data stored within the system. They confirmed that they had accurately documented the current state of IBM Maximo and used each business process to create a future map for the upgraded system. This mapping outlined how Denver could integrate additional functionality back into the Downstream OneMaximo Template operating at the BP Cherry Point refinery.

BP Drives Maintenance Efficiencies

British Petroleum

Collaborating with BP’s TAR planners, operators, superintendents, technical system administrators, and business teams, we synchronized the operational and TAR-related business processes to develop a solution that utilizes data from the system of record to manage relevant sub-systems. We evaluated the centralized data and integrated it into business processes, thereby reducing reliance on spreadsheets, while also adopting MuleSoft, an integration software platform, to facilitate the project. This effort involved linking a TAR planning and scoping tool with essential business systems like SAP, IBM Maximo, and Oracle Primavera, resulting in a cohesive data architecture to support turnaround activities. By employing an API-led design and architecture, we were able to launch and validate a prototype site prior to expanding these solutions across eight global locations. This approach allowed us to identify gaps within sites and systems, standardize processes, and efficiently replicate the successful outcomes achieved at the prototype site for other locations.
