OUR STORY
The Dakota Medical Foundation (DMF) is guided by a diverse board of professionals dedicated to advancing healthcare in North Dakota. Led by Board Chair Dr. Rob Lauf, a respected dentist and community leader, the board includes physicians like Dr. Dave Akkerman and Dr. Susan Mathison, alongside healthcare specialists such as Jessica R. Kuhn and Dr. Barbra Brookshire. Their combined expertise spans family medicine, optometry, pediatric care, and dentistry. Legal and executive perspectives are provided by Vice Chair Nola McNeally, Attorney Jennifer Thompson, and Executive Director Pat Traynor. The board's active involvement in governance, finance, and community-centered committees reflects DMF’s commitment to fostering medical excellence and supporting local health initiatives across Fargo and beyond.
