**BACKGROUND** Please tell us about your organization. My business is an app and website designed to assist individuals with food allergies in finding dining options. What is your role? I am the founder and creator. **OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE** What business challenge were you addressing with DabApps? Initially, I contacted DabApps along with about five other companies. The purpose of my app and website is to safely assist those with food allergies or intolerances when dining out. This initiative was inspired by my own experiences, as I have Celiac Disease. I was seeking assistance with the development of my app and website. **SOLUTION** Can you elaborate on their involvement? DabApps handled both app and web development. How did you decide to work with DabApps? Their pricing was reasonable and aligned with my budget goals, unlike other companies that were inflexible in their costs. DabApps offered a flexible pricing structure. I also valued their managing director's willingness to meet face-to-face, unlike other providers. During our meeting, I felt a strong rapport with him and his team, which gave me confidence that they were the right choice for my project. Could you provide a financial estimate for this initiative? It began at around £15,000 (approximately US$21,700), but over two years, I have invested between £35,000 and £40,000 (approximately US$50,600 – 57,900). What is the current status of this engagement? Our collaboration is ongoing. **RESULTS & FEEDBACK** Can you share any metrics from this engagement? My app is quite successful, boasting over 70,000 users globally. Although I haven't implemented translations, its simplicity allows widespread use. My priority was to help people rather than maximize profit, and I am content with the positive impact it has. What sets DabApps apart from other providers? DabApps is a friendly company where the team is eager to assist, and there's always someone available for communication via email or chat. Their team possesses a wide range of expertise, and they are transparent about costs from the beginning. They also provide honest feedback, advising against expenditures that may not be worthwhile, demonstrating that they prioritize value over profit. Is there anything DabApps could have improved or approached differently? Not really. I have worked with them for two years and have no intention of switching to another provider.
