Curbsy was founded in 2017 on the Isle of Man as a single person's initiative aimed at modernizing a traditional industry through innovative technology and enhanced personalization and curation. As the vision evolved, it attracted others, leading to the launch of the company's first product in Malta in 2020. With the product successfully established and managed by a newly formed team in Malta, we shifted our focus to new projects. Since then, we have been delivering custom software development and team support services to businesses both locally and internationally. We prioritize clean design and clean code in our work, aiming to enhance user experience, ensuring websites function intuitively, and adopting a timeless design suitable for all devices. When developing back-end systems and other unseen components, we believe the best technology is seamless and unobtrusive, simply functioning as intended. Any adjustments to software or processes should aim to elevate the user experience. We strive to create a company that positively impacts our communities, beginning this mission at home. Our operations, culture, and decision-making are guided by three core values. For us, integrity encompasses trust, respect, honesty, and transparency. After achieving profitability, all employees participate in profit sharing rather than receiving bonuses or commissions, and open communication is encouraged at all times. Additionally, love underpins our three main initiatives. We commit to donating a third of our profits to worthy causes after three years of profitability, offer staff an extra day off each month for volunteer work, and ensure our franchise partners contribute a portion of their profits to good causes. In our pursuit of innovation, curiosity is vital. We do not take any fact for granted; instead, we allow data to lead us to the most effective solutions for each challenge.
