Computer Graphics & Design Limited (CGDL) began its operations in 1991 as a sole proprietorship under the name Computer Graphics & Design, aiming to focus on IT-enabled services. Initially, the company specialized in graphic design and pre-press work within the local market. After establishing a successful graphic design service, it expanded into various software development and service-related projects. Currently, the company offers a range of products, including the Fisherman ID Card Project, archiving of RAJUK Town Planning files with data entry and scanning, the Educational Institution Student Management Service (EISMS), Graphic Designing Services (GDS), and large volume report printing, all of which have both local and international demand. CGDL was established as a Private Limited Company under the Companies Act of 1994 and registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & Firms in May 2008. The company has successfully completed several projects, including the database for the BPATC Library, data processing for the Department of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (DPDT) between 2013-2014, data entry and processing for the Jhilmil Residential Project's plot allocation application forms by RAJUK in 2011-2012, digitizing old newspapers for the Department of Public Libraries in 2013-2014, creating large databases and printing voter lists for the Election Commission in 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2006, and developing a birth and death registration system with database creation for the Chittagong City Corporation, along with digitizing CityCell subscriber forms.
