- CHALLENGE - The client set out to empower people with dementia through cutting-edge mobile assistive technology. Their goal was to modify mobile devices to make phone usage and communication easier for this demographic. The main obstacle was creating a highly user-friendly mobile application that allowed access to all critical functions with just a single click. - SOLUTION - We designed an Android application specifically for individuals with dementia, which gained popularity in the U.S. market. The project broadened to include people with special needs, encompassing those with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, visual impairments, and seniors needing caregiver assistance. Additionally, we established a caregiver portal to facilitate support for these groups and developed a mobile app for caregivers on both Android and iOS, which streamlined the management of memory phones and improved caregivers' ability to provide care. Collaborations with Motorola and Google, as well as the integration of third-party systems, played a crucial role in the product's widespread acceptance. It is currently used by over 30,000 seniors across the U.S. The memory phone itself was notably enhanced with new features such as video calling, customizable settings to meet individual requirements, and a mode designed for users with low vision or tremors. - RESULT - Our solutions improved mobile communication accessibility for the intended users and eased the responsibilities of caregivers. The product garnered attention from the U.S. government, leading to further development supported by subsidies, market demand, and professional endorsements. The project was positively featured in the New York Times. Since its inception in 2019, collaboration has strengthened, with ongoing improvements and new features being developed. The aim is to establish a leading presence in the U.S. and Canadian markets, with future expansion plans for the EU, UK, and Switzerland.

- CHALLENGE - Our client sought to bring together athletes, fans, and businesses in the soccer sector on a unified platform, establishing a self-sustaining ecosystem that benefits all involved parties. Starting from the ground up, we initiated a complex project that encompassed product design, development, marketing, visual branding, and the creation of a tech stack. This undertaking was among the most difficult we have faced. - SOLUTION - We performed thorough market research and examined similar platforms while working together to identify key features necessary for success. Our focus was on UI/UX design and software development to ensure a smooth user experience. A significant aspect of our solution was the incorporation of Blockchain into the customer engagement program, tailored as a scalable option for future needs and growth within the ecosystem. Users earned rewards for their networking activities and contributions. We developed a comprehensive solution, selecting a tech stack that matched the client's demands while ensuring scalability. Our team, which consisted of over 20 professionals, including UI/UX designers, solution architects, product owners, project managers, developers, QA engineers, and data scientists, collaborated to realize the client's vision. - RESULT - We delivered a distinct solution equipped with all requested features, building a dedicated infrastructure on AWS utilizing a microservices architecture. This encompassed a custom blockchain, a social network, a B2B platform, and native mobile applications for both iOS and Android. Our QA team guaranteed a bug-free platform that met our rigorous standards. This case study highlights our capability to address complex challenges and provide innovative solutions within sports technology. The project commenced in 2019 and continues to evolve with the ongoing development of new functionalities and services in the Footballerista ecosystem, supporting the original goal of fostering every athlete's future. As a result of this partnership, new initiatives have emerged, and we are committed to offering comprehensive IT support.

tixbase: Ticketing Marketplace

- CHALLENGE - The client sought to transform the event ticketing landscape for concerts, sports, festivals, museums, and conferences by utilizing NFT (Non-Fungible Token) tickets and creating an internal marketplace for trading these NFTs. Our responsibilities included conducting market research and incorporating additional valuable features. We were tasked with implementing strong business logic that would empower event organizers to have complete control over their events, ensuring secure payments and admissions while deterring scalping and fraud. Moreover, the client desired a smooth web2 experience while integrating web3 technology and facilitating direct credit card payments for NFT tickets. - SOLUTION - The initial platform was developed on the Ethereum mainnet with infrastructure hosted on Digital Ocean and integrated with various Ethereum-based services. Due to slow progress in development, we transitioned to the Avalanche network and relocated the infrastructure to AWS, resulting in faster NFT ticket minting capabilities. This change led to a stable and scalable platform. We delivered a ticketing system complete with a mobile app and a full ticket scanning system. For event organizers with their own scanning solutions, we created a bridge to accommodate any event. The platform has been operational for approximately 15 months, featuring ongoing upgrades and enhancements. - RESULT - Our efforts in product design, software development, and quality assurance successfully achieved all project objectives. We effectively launched a ticketing platform using ERC721a NFT assets, hitting each milestone within the set timelines. The Minimum Viable Product (MVP) was released in July 2022 after eight months of development. Our continued focus on innovation has resulted in new features and ongoing platform improvements. In December 2022, our work was honored with the Best Innovation Award from the UK Festival Awards in partnership with the EXIT festival. Our client is extremely pleased, and we have a development plan extending until September 2024, targeting significant business milestones by the end of next year.
