Animates was launched at the end of 2020, following two years of careful consideration, strategic planning, and development. Inspired and humbled by the incredible daily efforts of animal charities, they aimed to contribute to this cause. As a new initiative, Animates allowed us to start from the ground up, ensuring that we designed and built the site with the end-users in mind. Leveraging the ASP.NET platform enabled us to create a secure website capable of handling high traffic demands while also allowing for scalability. We opted for the Umbraco CMS due to its flexibility, which supports the development of a dynamic and fast website experience. As Umbraco Gold Partners, our certified developers at Cold Banana prioritized two key factors during the development of Animates: delivering a first-phase product quickly while facilitating smooth and efficient future updates. Umbraco 8 was the ideal choice because it allowed us to utilize its built-in features to implement core functionalities tailored to the Animates project. At Cold Banana, we have contributed to this effort by developing a functional and effective website, along with a customized finance calendar and a recent geo-location vehicle finder. Our development agency has dedicated itself to enhancing the Moneybarn website's efficiency without rushing the process; we collaborated with a leading design agency to ensure a successful project. This partnership produced a modern, engaging design that remains intuitive for users. Following a successful onboarding, we commenced the implementation of additional functionalities that Event Insurance wanted in their custom .NET solution, including a blanket price increase, new policy features, and relevant landing pages for their website.
