Due to the cloud-native architecture and the optimizations made, the app offers exceptional performance and smooth usability, establishing itself as a key resource for the CS2 player community.

Point-out is an AI and data analytics platform that analyzes content from major Italian newspapers, both in print and online. Utilizing advanced data ingestion systems and semantic analysis, it converts millions of articles into strategic insights, helping companies and institutions gain a deeper understanding of media trends and make informed decisions based on data. Challenge: One of the primary challenges faced in this project was to establish a reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure capable of processing millions of articles from diverse journalistic sources while ensuring quick processing times and continuous functionality. Additionally, it was essential to maintain a budget that balanced performance, stability, and long-term cost effectiveness. Solution: The solution developed is a high-performance cloud infrastructure seamlessly integrated with AWS, designed to effectively handle millions of data points. The system processes and provides information to the frontend in real-time, ensuring instant updates and a seamless user experience, even with large volumes of data. Impact: The results have been substantial: the platform has become quicker, more stable, and more responsive, significantly enhancing the overall user experience. Thanks to the optimizations made, user interest and engagement have increased, making Point-out a more effective and competitive resource in the realm of data and media analytics.

FantaAmici is an online game inspired by the popular TV show Amici di Maria De Filippi, merging the excitement of talent competitions with the enjoyment of a fantasy game. Players can assemble their own teams of contestants, score points based on their performances, and compete with friends or other players. In a short period, the platform amassed over 300,000 users, making it one of the most sought-after digital experiences related to Italian television entertainment. The development of FantaAmici faced various technical and strategic hurdles. The primary challenge was to create a scalable cloud infrastructure capable of managing extremely high traffic during TV episodes while ensuring optimal performance and service availability. Another significant challenge was developing a stable, high-performing app that could provide a seamless experience for hundreds of thousands of simultaneous users across various devices. Furthermore, we implemented an in-app advertising management system to balance monetization needs with a pleasant and unobtrusive user experience. Additionally, we developed a dedicated back office to oversee users, scores, and ad campaigns, enabling the team to monitor and manage everything in real-time. The impact of FantaAmici has been remarkable in terms of both user numbers and engagement. We surpassed 300,000 unique users, fostering a vibrant and enthusiastic community around the TV show. The project illustrated how a scalable cloud infrastructure and a thoughtfully designed app can transform an entertainment idea into a thriving digital platform, capable of managing heavy traffic while delivering a stable and enjoyable experience for all users.
