We engaged Codepoint for software development, specifically for the front-end of our custom system. They successfully met our project requirements. SOLUTION: How did you choose this vendor and what influenced your decision? We were impressed by the team’s positive attitude; they are both humble and diligent. Their cultural fit with our organization was also a significant factor. Describe the scope of work, detailing the project phases, key deliverables, and technologies utilized. We employed .NET Core and React for the project. How many members from the vendor’s team collaborated with you, and what were their roles? Client MMAPP is an emerging startup aimed at transforming Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) by offering judges innovative tools for accurately assessing and scoring fights, alongside methods for training and supervising regulatory bodies. The primary challenges and goals include creating a unique tool for managing MMA events, focused on enhancing judges' control and evaluation of fights through a specific set of metrics to ensure unmatched accuracy and distinctiveness in the market. The app is designed for real-time, detailed assessments by judges during MMA competitions. After discussions with the client, we determined that the most effective solution would be to develop a mobile application, which requires integration with other systems (web app and central app) communicating through a single API. The client's main priorities involve the user interface, overall app navigation using React Native, and the evaluation tool developed in native code.
