OUR STORY
Clear Point Communications is a dynamic firm rooted in a rich blend of journalistic, governmental, and strategic communications expertise. Founded in 2006 by Peter Shelly, a former statehouse reporter and pioneer of Pennsylvania's first internet-based news service, the company merged with Charlie Lyons, a seasoned public servant and former State Director for U.S. Senator Bob Casey Jr., in 2011. Together, they combined their skills and networks to form ShellyLyons Public Affairs & Communications. Today, Clear Point has grown to a team of seven professionals across offices in Harrisburg and Pittsburgh, offering comprehensive communications and advocacy services, including message development, digital media, earned media, and crisis communications, driven by industry veterans Danielle Gross, John Neurohr, and Gina Pelusi.
