ROI is a top provider of medical dictation, transcription, reporting, and records management systems within the healthcare sector. Clear Measure upgraded the company's previous platform, introduced mobile functionality and various new features, and integrated it with the existing legacy systems. This new service delivery platform has enhanced ROI's stability and improved application performance, allowing clients to access a comprehensive range of functionalities through their mobile devices. Although ROI has been delivering high-quality services for many years, they recognized the need to modernize their platform and add upgrades to better accommodate new client demands, such as mobile integration and additional service features. With significant growth in both existing and new clients, the company faced challenges that necessitated extensive upgrades to their applications and infrastructure. Clear Measure offered a holistic approach, combining software engineering and DevOps to manage the customer’s assets. Initially, the existing platform was modernized with mobile capabilities, and new features like external reporting and integration with other medical systems were introduced. The platform was improved with enhanced database components and functionality. The new service delivery platform not only boosted stability and application performance but also allowed full mobile integration, giving clients access to a complete set of application functionalities. Project Jumpstart & Custom Software Development

PinnacleART

PinnacleART offers construction, maintenance, and thorough reliability programs for businesses in the oil and gas, mining, and pharmaceutical sectors. They previously relied on a complicated manual process to model the availability of processing facilities and sought to automate this for their engineers assessing factory availability. To explore the feasibility of an automated solution, the client requested a Proof of Concept (POC) to demonstrate the creation and automatic calculation of an Availability Model. Additionally, PinnacleART did not utilize a build-once-and-release approach; instead, they had separate builds for each version and environment of their software products, leading to discrepancies between the testing and production versions. Clear Measure suggested incorporating Visio in the POC application, where they created functionalities to manage PinnacleART's complex algorithms associated with availability modeling and generated diagrams of the facilities. To address PinnacleART's software build challenges, Clear Measure launched a new software development project using Azure DevOps, implementing a revised branching strategy and pull requests. As a result, PinnacleART can now use Visio to model system availability and automatically calculate uptime at the click of a button, a task that previously required extensive time and expertise to manually break down systems into subsystems. In terms of DevOps, the client can now manage development, building, and releasing entirely within the Azure cloud ecosystem.

Octopus Deploy Implementation

AlphaPoint

AlphaPoint is a financial technology (FinTech) firm focused on transforming illiquid assets into liquid ones. It provides institutional clients with enterprise-grade blockchain solutions to digitize assets, launch markets, and lower operational expenses, thus enabling customers to introduce new products and services. The company assists businesses in digitizing various asset types, including real estate, gold, art, and more. Once digitized, these assets can be traded using cryptocurrency, enhancing their liquidity. Before collaborating with Clear Measure, AlphaPoint executed cloud environment provisioning and cryptocurrency software deployment manually across multiple servers. This process required several days for setup, followed by additional troubleshooting related to new software releases. At that time, their development team utilized only 10-15% of Octopus Deploy's automation capabilities. Clear Measure evaluated AlphaPoint's deployment workflow and developed a strategic plan to enable their DevOps team to fully automate the deployment process. By leveraging infrastructure as code and advanced features of Octopus Deploy, Clear Measure created a hands-free method for setting up new customer environments. Furthermore, Clear Measure provided training to the AlphaPoint team on managing and maintaining the deployment process while adapting to new feature requirements. As a result, AlphaPoint can now provision new environments in four hours or less and deploy features on demand. By increasing the use of Octopus Deploy's automation features from 10% to 80%, AlphaPoint has achieved over an 84% increase in productivity.
