Miz-Mooz sees gains across the board after collaborating with CB/I.
Miz-Mooz is a high-end footwear brand located in New York. Their products are sold through major retailers such as Nordstrom, Walmart, DSW, and Zappos. The company operates three branded ecommerce websites: Miz-Mooz.com, AS98.net, and InfinityShoes.com, along with an Amazon sales channel and several physical stores in the northeastern United States. To streamline their marketing efforts, Miz-Mooz enlisted CB/I to handle their SEO and paid advertising on Google and Facebook while they continue their Magento ecommerce development. With the challenges of wholesale B2B and brick-and-mortar retail, Miz-Mooz focuses on ecommerce as its primary growth avenue.
Beginning in 2017, CB/I first concentrated on enhancing the performance of their Google AdWords campaigns. Within a few months, they increased the return on ad spend (ROAS) from 12:1 to 24:1, well above the break-even point of 5:1. By 2019, CB/I shifted their strategy towards scaling revenue and expanding the customer base. They doubled the traffic from Google Shopping, achieving a 94% year-over-year increase at an efficient cost per click (CPC) of $0.52, bringing in a large pool of new, high-quality first-time customers. The cost per acquisition (CPA) remained healthy at $15 per order, with a 10:1 ROAS. Google Search maintained a remarkable 22:1 ROAS at a CPA of $6.27, with a year-over-year revenue increase of 22%.
Recent advancements with their proprietary AI tool, Playmaker, have significantly improved results, allowing Miz-Mooz to reach an extraordinary 40:1 to 69:1 ROAS for paid search (up from an average of 18:1 to 24:1), tripling their online revenue, and reducing both CPC and CPA. The Playmaker algorithm optimized budget allocation for high-performing campaigns while minimizing unnecessary spending.
Facebook also proved to be an effective prospecting channel for attracting new customers. In 2019, they increased Facebook traffic by 116% with a CPC of just $0.55, resulting in a 135% year-over-year revenue growth while maintaining a 5:1 ROAS. Combined with successful paid prospecting across both Facebook and Google, Miz-Mooz's overall online revenue surged by 52% in 2019 compared to 2018, generating millions in new income. Additionally, paid prospecting contributed to an eightfold increase in email revenue (up 678%) and a ninefold rise in traffic year-over-year (873%).
