Leankeep - Maintenance Software

Leankeep

In February 2007, Casa Villar was contracted by Seccional Informática to create a new version of the TPMOC software, a building maintenance management tool based on the PMOC (Maintenance, Operation, and Control Plan). Utilizing the Ironspeed Designer tool, which generates ASP.NET web applications and SQL Server databases, our team of just two developers completed the first version of the software in under a year. In March 2009, we initiated a project to migrate and redesign the TPMOC software, which involved updating it to the latest version of IronSpeed, restructuring software processes, and creating a new layout. As part of this project, Seccional Informática rebranded the software as Leankeep (Light Maintenance). In January 2011, we began developing an embedded version for Windows mobile smartphones with data synchronization, and within six months, we delivered the initial version for approval. In June 2013, we launched a project for a new mobile version for Android, also featuring data synchronization, using the Xamarin development platform. The app's first version was released in early 2014. In October 2014, we embarked on creating a new version of the web system, which included a redesign of all screens and an update to the latest ASP.NET framework. The first version of the new web system was launched in July 2015 and is currently the main version of Leankeep software. In January 2018, we started working on a new mobile version for both Android and iOS, incorporating offline functionality and online access using the latest Xamarin platform for hybrid app development. This version is now fully operational as the mobile app for Leankeep on both platforms.

Fisk - School Management System

Fisk Fortaleza

Agile Development Project for Fisk Fortaleza The Fisk Seis Bocas School in Fortaleza, Ceará, aimed to upgrade its outdated Clipper system that had been in use since 1997. After a year of effort, they were unable to make progress, leading to the hiring of Casa Villar at the end of 2004. The new project kicked off on January 3, 2005, with a target completion date of June—an optimistic goal given the more complex web interface compared to the previous desktop system. Additionally, the project needed to address data consistency and conversion from the Clipper system to a new database. There were further challenges due to a lack of experience with web interfaces and the initial adaptation to Ironspeed Designer, the new tool acquired from Casa Villar. Prior to purchasing the first license, they spent about six months testing this U.S. web application generator, which was still in version 2.1. It promised to efficiently create most of the new system's routines, especially for database functions and web pages to manage application data. The tool not only delivered on its promises but also served as an excellent learning resource for developers new to web technology. It streamlined graphic design tasks and provided clear guidance for coding and customization. As a result, by the first week of March, a training version was available for concurrent operation, and just three days later, the old system was phased out. Post-implementation adjustments were carried out smoothly and quickly. A completely redesigned version of the system is currently in testing and will soon be rolled out across all five schools. On the 16th anniversary of the project's launch, all five Fisk schools are actively using the system with ongoing personalized support from Casa Villar.

Unitextil - ERP-complementary custom systems

Tailored systems for Unitextil. Unitêxtil, a traditional spinning and weaving company based in Ceará, aimed to modernize its production line and enhance its administrative services. The project commenced in 2005, and the initial version of the custom system was deployed in roughly three months. This version included individual tracking of each produced roll, labeling, and the implementation of a data collector for stock counting and the preparation of output and processing documents, leveraging the Totvs Corpore ERP. Following the completion of the shipping system, work began on a customized system for yarn and fabric production planning, which incorporated cost management with detailed breakdowns of costs and pricing per product, culminating in a successful deployment. Production Planning and Pricing. With the successful establishment of the Expedition System, the subsequent challenge was to develop a custom solution for planning the production of yarns and fabrics, which included detailed cost management and pricing results per product. Once again, the effective application of strong programming capabilities, combined with a skilled development team, led to another successful implementation. Expedition. In 2005, Casa Villar initiated a project focused on automating the shipping process for fabrics, which involved replacing the previous, unsuccessful Clipper system that had never been put into operation. The new customized system's first version was launched in about three months, featuring individual roll control, labeling, and a data collector for stock management and document processing, utilizing the Totvs Corpore ERP registrations.
