ABOUT BYG ADVANTAGE

Sales Acceleration

BYG Advantage is a sales acceleration platform that offers outsourced services by deploying skilled teams of professionals to enhance sales, engineering support, and marketing in global markets. Additionally, BYG Advantage provides management oversight to synchronize these teams across various regions and connect them back to the client's main office. We fill the gap between two traditional options: establishing your own office and hiring staff or depending on a distant reseller. Instead, we deliver a ready-to-use professional team that functions in the market as an extension of your organization. Our business model is based on a retained engagement along with a success-based fee, which ensures that the individuals working on your project remain focused and aligned with common goals.

Spy Clouds Expansion Into ASEAN

SpyCloud

SpyCloud, a cybersecurity firm based in Texas, leveraged its dark web expertise to expand into Asia by collaborating with BYG Advantage, thus avoiding the lengthy process of remote exploration. This partnership provided SpyCloud with a well-established network and valuable market insights, quickly building a strong client base. Since their clients manage sensitive data, it was crucial for SpyCloud to find a trustworthy partner. BYG Advantage, recognized for its reliability and transparent approach, worked closely with SpyCloud's legal team to address security requirements, resulting in a solid, long-lasting partnership. They effectively tapped into their connections in Australia, facilitating introductions for SpyCloud to key government and educational institutions, as well as influential cybersecurity resellers in the ASEAN region. In South Korea, where SpyCloud already had a partner for expansion, BYG Advantage adeptly integrated this partnership into its platform, enhancing SpyCloud's footprint in the area. Japan, typically a challenging market for foreign firms, became more accessible thanks to BYG Advantage's bicultural team, whose extensive market knowledge and sales expertise led to successful partnerships and business opportunities across various sectors, including notable Japanese brands. This strategic move significantly broadened SpyCloud's regional presence from Sydney to Tokyo, all while being more cost-effective than developing in-house. Impressed by BYG Advantage’s customized strategies and successful outcomes, SpyCloud increased investment in its regional team and encouraged the pursuit of new markets in East Africa and Latin America, further expanding their global presence.

The Value of Internal Champions

Vidyo

Eitan Livne was in charge of Vidyo’s operations in the Asia-Pacific region, a company that specializes in video conferencing software. While overseeing various offices and personnel, he needed outside expertise for complex, large-scale agreements. This is where BYG Advantage and John Fargis came in, bringing their expertise and connections for navigating complicated negotiations. Together, they worked on strategizing and adapting to challenges, consistently discussing and refining their plans. Fargis and BYG Advantage leveraged Vidyo's global achievements to enter the Japanese market, specifically focusing on V-Cube, the top video conferencing company in Japan, which led to a profitable, ongoing multi-million dollar contract. Initially, V-Cube saw Eitan and John as rivals, making information exchange difficult. Additionally, V-Cube’s lack of experience with outsourcing posed challenges. John's extensive regional knowledge was essential in identifying allies within V-Cube, forming a coalition for effective cooperation, and protecting intellectual property. This approach facilitated a mutual understanding between Vidyo and V-Cube while safeguarding sensitive data. BYG Advantage then adapted Vidyo’s technology to enhance V-Cube's services, balancing the needs of both V-Cube's engineering and commercial teams with Vidyo’s capabilities. John's ability to navigate time zone differences and cultural nuances ensured seamless communication. Ultimately, the collaboration resulted in a white-labeled version of Vidyo’s solution being integrated into V-Cube’s offerings, significantly increasing revenue for both companies.

Myriota in LatAm and ASEAN

Myriota

Myriota, a prominent player in IoT connectivity through satellite technology, sought to leverage its success in Australia and North America by entering Latin America and ASEAN. While interest was growing in Latin America, the company encountered the challenge of obtaining spectrum licenses in each new region, a task they had previously handled effectively on a global scale. Typically, companies would either partner with local distributors or set up direct operations in new markets, both of which carry inherent risks. At this pivotal moment, Myriota partnered with BYG Advantage, facilitated by a mutual connection that established a strong relationship between their executives. Rather than appointing a regional leader as BYG had suggested, Myriota's CEO chose a more hands-on strategy, opting to deploy sales teams in key Latin American nations and starting with one representative in Malaysia for Southeast Asia. Although BYG had experience in scaling enterprise software, they needed to adjust to the specific demands of satellite solutions. They quickly adapted by holding regular meetings with Myriota to oversee the sales pipeline and exchange insights. This approach proved successful within six months, as they launched several proof-of-concept initiatives in all managed markets, resulting in deals across various industries. With Myriota's assistance in navigating logistical and regulatory challenges, BYG enhanced their market strategy by increasing resources in established markets and venturing into new territories like Thailand and Kenya, supported by further investments from Myriota. The collaboration between Myriota and BYG Advantage is set for significant growth in 2024 and beyond, signaling a successful entry into new global markets.
