Crypto payment platform
The vision highlights a significant amount of capital in the cryptocurrency space that is yet to be effectively utilized. Consumers are eager to spend their crypto assets within the e-commerce and consumer goods sectors, and while there are solutions that facilitate crypto payments, these funds tend to remain in digital currency. This scenario poses challenges for merchants, particularly due to the volatility of the crypto market, which makes them hesitant to embrace these payment methods. Merchants continuously seek new income sources, yet the connection between cryptocurrencies and their practical applications in everyday transactions remains unmet.
Our role has involved collaborating with non-technical founders who presented this challenge alongside a preliminary concept for a solution. The Bushido team engaged with these founders, conducted research on various technologies, and designed a solution and product architecture that prioritized the client’s needs, particularly focusing on rapid launch and customer acquisition. We aided in establishing clear priorities, identifying essential features, and minimizing costs. This entire process spanned six months, during which Bushido not only handled implementation but also advised the client on product development, addressed business issues, participated in technical discussions with third-party service providers, and offered support during the launch.
Bushido has successfully created a payment solution that enables e-commerce platforms and merchants to accept crypto payments in their online stores, while receiving payment in fiat currency. By incorporating a WooCommerce plugin into the shopping platform, merchants can introduce an additional payment option called CachePay for their users. This allows buyers to easily sign up, create a wallet, transfer cryptocurrency to CachePay, and purchase desired products with just a few clicks.
