Bureau Morgenstern, a boutique design studio established in 2016, is led by its founder and now operates from Rottau near Lake Chiemsee, offering scenic Alpine views. The journey began in 2005 when the founder relocated from Freiburg to Italy to join FABRICA, Benetton's esteemed design research center in Treviso. After spending 15 years in Vienna working initially at prominent agencies and later as a partner in his own, the founder chose to embark on an independent path. Serving a diverse clientele—including lifestyle and industrial brands like Jägermeister and Loebner timepieces, as well as local enterprises such as Lienin carpentry and Vienna's Mayr delicatessen—the studio emphasizes clear, high-quality design. The work spans lifestyle, automotive, fine products, and celebrates the art of refined living.
