Brickman Marketing

Wendy Brickman, the founder and President of Brickman Marketing, relocated from Los Angeles to Monterey and started her marketing firm in 1990. She possesses a diverse background in publicity, advertising, strategic partnerships, social media, content marketing, and market research. Since establishing her business, Wendy has collaborated with hundreds of local and national clients to create cost-effective marketing campaigns. Depending on the project, she either works directly with clients or collaborates with colleagues to achieve their marketing and public relations objectives. Wendy's professional history includes roles in management training films and management positions within the home video industry at Paramount Home Video, Media Home Entertainment, and Pacific Arts Video. She earned an MBA in Marketing/Management from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, an M.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California, and a B.A. in English from U.C. Berkeley. Additionally, she is a graduate of Leadership Monterey Peninsula and Leadership Santa Cruz County. Wendy has received multiple accolades, including four Business Excellence Awards from the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Advocate of the Year Award from the California Chamber of Commerce. She was also recognized as Woman of the Year by the Professional Women's Network of the Monterey Peninsula and named one of the Top Women in Monterey County by the Monterey County Commission on the Status of Women. Wendy has served on various Boards of Directors, including those for the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Development Executives Network, Professional Women’s Network, and the Monterey History and Art Association. She has also taught at California State University Monterey Bay and Golden Gate University.
