Kallamuz

**THE CHALLENGE** Kallamuz is a gifting company that specializes in solutions for both private and commercial events. Its name, “Kallamuz,” is inspired by the term "calamus," which comes from the Greek word "kalamos," referring to a reed known for its decorative and therapeutic qualities, as it emits fragrance when broken and is easy to cultivate. The company offers a diverse array of gift boxes, floral arrangements for any occasion, and party decorations, engaging four of the five human senses: touch, sight, smell, and hearing. In addition to selling flowers, Kallamuz produces its own spa products, including candles, soaps, essences, and salts, and provides training for decorators. The challenge was to design a symbol that encapsulates the meaning of the company's name and vision, select appropriate typography based on our concept, and develop supportive graphic elements and materials that complement the visual identity. **THE SOLUTION** The responsive logo, featuring a blooming calamus, was designed using a grid, allowing the isotype to be used in various contexts, either alongside the logotype or independently. While brown and yellow are the main colors, the pastel palette enables the brand to be adaptable with various colors suited to different seasons, events, or target audiences. The uppercase typography ensures readability while suggesting the brand's quality, elegance, and premium characteristics. **BRAND IDENTITY** The goal of the project was to highlight the company's unique qualities through its visual identity design. Personalization is central to the brand, and pastel colors were chosen to create a flexible visual identity that meets customer needs. It also allows for growth and the integration of new ideas, products, and services. The Kallamuz identity promotes an image of a classic and timeless brand that maintains a balance between seriousness and playfulness, as well as directness and depth.

Connection Construction

**THE CHALLENGE** The co-founders of Connection General Construction, one specializing in roofing and the other in glass doors and windows, have merged their construction expertise and companies to form this new entity. The company aims to handle projects from the foundation phase to the final key handover, with plans to engage in home flipping in the future. The challenge was to showcase the founders' expertise, effectively communicate the new brand to the market, and ensure customers understand the company’s updated approach. **SOLUTION** In our comparison of construction firms, we noticed a recurring red and black color scheme with typical roof icons. We envisioned a youthful and innovative concept filled with joy and creativity. This project is entirely unique, designed to stand out in the construction industry segment. **BRAND IDENTITY** The logo incorporates the initials of the company’s name, C + G (Connection General Construction), designed with a grid for responsiveness. The vibrant colors of the visual identity draw inspiration from the reflective clothing commonly seen in the construction field, ensuring visibility even in compact formats like app icons. The color palette and design elements were influenced by construction materials such as bricks and tiles. Connection General Construction is a brand that is recognized for its simplicity and versatility.

Pro Commercial Solutions

THE CHALLENGE Pro Commercial Cleaning transitioned to Pro Commercial Solutions, a name that reflects its broader array of services. As the company grew, it aimed to update its brand to effectively convey its evolution to both existing and potential clients. The rebranding capitalizes on nearly 10 years of experience in the market, enhancing the company's visibility and differentiation from competitors. To offer comprehensive maintenance services, the company sought to reposition and modernize its brand. This expansion includes not only cleaning but also additional services such as repairs, construction, landscaping, and snow removal. The client specifically requested that the new design retain the blue and yellow colors from the previous logo, as well as the initial concepts of a sun and building symbol. The challenge then was to develop a strong, modern, and dynamic brand that would stand out in the cleaning and maintenance industry. SOLUTION Our approach included creating a contemporary symbol using the established blue and yellow color scheme, while preserving elements from the old brand. By utilizing a grid for the logo design, we crafted a dynamic, adaptable, and flexible symbol. The typography was designed to enhance readability and visual appeal, complementing the boldness of the new symbol. BRAND IDENTITY The redesigned symbol is inspired by a building with prominent glass windows and features a minimalist design that maintains the original colors in a modern palette. This logo supports various applications, allowing for a multifaceted visual identity.
