ABM Industries, a century-old FORTUNE 500 organization, has transformed into a global leader in manpower services and building maintenance. While primarily recognized for its janitorial services, a series of acquisitions expanded its offerings to include parking management, security, and building systems engineering. The acquisition of the Linc Group in 2010 positioned ABM in the profitable Integrated Facility Solutions sector and introduced advanced technologies to optimize workforce deployment, paving the way for significant growth, market expansion, and the provision of sustainable solutions worldwide. Despite its substantial scale, ABM struggled with limited market recognition, often being viewed merely as a cleaning company. Its intricate brand structure required simplification and integration. ABM collaborated with BrandingBusiness to leverage the Linc acquisition and refresh its brand image. We established a brand positioning that focused on Integrated Facility Solutions, showcasing ABM's global workforce, technological capabilities, industry expertise, and comprehensive service offerings to present ABM as an innovative leader in the field. To celebrate the company's employees and reflect its value proposition, we created a new logo and tagline: "Building Value." This new identity illustrated ABM's commitment to enhancing clients' physical assets while promoting eco-friendly solutions. We developed a complete visual identity system and produced a variety of materials, including fleet graphics, tradeshow displays, brand videos, collateral, posters, and the ABM Annual Report. Bringing together an organization in the midst of significant change while articulating its bold vision for modern healthcare. In 1994, a collective of doctors and care providers founded the Mid Rogue Independent Physicians Association (MRIPA) to deliver quality, cost-effective healthcare in Oregon. The organization experienced steady growth, firmly rooted in its foundational values, until 2012, when the state introduced Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) to manage both care and health plans. MRIPA was awarded a contract to provide these services to its communities, leading to a dramatic shift in the organization’s size and scope. During this period of growth, multiple brands and new divisions emerged, resulting in a fragmented identity for MRIPA, which caused confusion among members about oversight and care. BrandingBusiness was contracted to find a resolution. We undertook extensive internal and external research to clarify the organizational ambiguity, leading to the clear solution: create a strong brand to unify the portfolio and highlight its commitment to improving healthcare for communities. To shift from separate entities to a cohesive brand guided by a singular vision and voice, we proposed a branded-house strategy and introduced a new name, “AllCare Health,” building upon an existing brand while reinforcing the company's future direction. We also crafted a new visual identity and brand expression under the tagline: "Changing healthcare to work for you." Collaborating closely with the AllCare Health team, we launched the new brand to physicians and staff through a coordinated program, followed by a public rollout to communicate the brand’s value proposition to local communities and business partners, complete with a new website and digital campaign aimed at changing perceptions and fostering brand loyalty. AllCare Health remained true to its original mission and, today, its inspiring vision is transforming Oregon's healthcare landscape and paving the way for a potential new national model of care.

A community health initiative aimed at transforming the existing model. The story of Anchorum St. Vincent began when the Sisters of Charity founded St. Vincent hospital in 1865. In 2007, the hospital partnered with CHRISTUS Health, while SVHsupport, a nonprofit organization, represented the community's 50% ownership. Initially, SVHsupport's role was to safeguard community interests and ensure financial responsibility, though it didn't fully utilize its capabilities. In 2018, Peter Bastone took over as CEO and quickly identified health challenges facing the communities of Santa Fe and northern New Mexico. To develop a new business and branding strategy, BrandingBusiness was brought in to consult with SVHsupport, its leadership, and Board of Directors. After conducting workshops and interviews with internal stakeholders and respected community members, SVHsupport was rebranded as Anchorum St. Vincent, reflecting its commitment to the community and honoring its historical role in serving the people of the region. We developed a visual identity and messaging focused on community health and strength, featuring a logo inspired by the bottom of a basket, a significant craft and symbol of strength in the area. The brand’s credibility was further bolstered through original photography of local residents taken by local photographers. BrandingBusiness conducted internal training, launched the new brand with print, broadcast, and digital campaigns, and created video content and presentations for a launch event in 2018 that included government officials, local nonprofits, CHRISTUS Health leadership, hospital representatives, and local media. Our print and broadcast advertising received accolades at the 36th Annual Healthcare Ad Awards in 2019, and we continue to provide marketing support to Anchorum St. Vincent as they develop their investment programs for the future.
