Our goal was to modernize the app, improving its functionality and user experience for Caesars' 55 million loyalty members. Our work led to record-breaking KPIs, including improved revenue and app store rankings. We were assigned the task of updating the digital presence for Fiesta Restaurant Group's Pollo Tropical and Taco Cabana brands. In a competitive quick-service restaurant (QSR) market, our objective was to improve customer retention and boost revenue through enhanced digital platforms. Understanding the importance of a cohesive platform for both brands, we initiated a thorough process that included mapping out the customer journey, conducting market research, and performing a comprehensive technology audit. Our strategy involved developing a streamlined technology and user experience framework with an API gateway, which enabled scalability and simplified operations. This approach allowed us to create a flexible codebase that served both iOS and Android users across the brands. We concentrated on simplifying menu structures and incorporating offer and loyalty redemption into the ordering process to improve conversions and foster customer loyalty. Our partnership with Animal Supply Company (ASC) offered an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our skills in user experience (UX) design and mobile app development within the pet product distribution sector. Our goal was to help ASC tackle the challenges of digital transformation in a marketplace increasingly influenced by eCommerce leaders like Amazon and Chewy. We focused on understanding the specific needs of ASC's customers, mainly small, independent retailers who had limited digital expertise, leading us to create intuitive and user-friendly digital solutions. We began by redefining the customer ordering experience for ASC, acknowledging the necessity for a cohesive and streamlined platform due to ASC's growth through acquisitions, which had resulted in several outdated ordering systems. Transitioning to OroCommerce was a strategic decision to merge these systems into a single, efficient eCommerce platform. A key element of our collaboration was the development of an innovative mobile ordering app, designed to alleviate the particular challenges faced by ASC’s retail customers. The app featured capabilities such as barcode scanning for effortless product search and addition, Face and Touch ID for secure and rapid logins, and a personalized dashboard for easy access to order history.
