Chicago flower shop from $1.8K
to $15K in 5 weeks

Gold Coast Flowers

A few weeks prior to Mother’s Day, a flower shop in Chicago contacted us. They had a functioning Shopify store and an Instagram account, but their online sales were stagnant at around $2–3K per month, with a conversion rate below 1%. Their objective was clear: improve the website and optimize the ads quickly. Here’s what we did: 🛠️ **Website Optimization** We redesigned the homepage, reorganized product collections, included seasonal bestsellers, and added elements to build trust. Our aim was straightforward: enhance the site’s conversion potential and create a shopping experience that felt reliable and purposeful. 📈 **Traffic & Ads** We implemented a comprehensive strategy across Meta and Google Ads, generating targeted traffic that the revamped website could convert into sales.

Successful flower shop in 1 month

How a Flower Shop Generated $35,000 in Revenue in Its Inaugural Month: A Success Story The Challenge: A Rushed Schedule Before Valentine’s Day With January 20th marked on the calendar, the pressure was on as we had little over a month until Valentine's Day. We had to work quickly to prepare everything: developing their website from the ground up, creating effective ad campaigns, photographing and listing all their stunning arrangements, and ensuring they were visible on Google Maps. We needed to start getting pre-orders immediately. There was no room for mistakes or the luxury of "we'll fix it later” — every detail had to be perfect from the outset, as time was running out. The Strategy: Utilizing Shopify, Targeted Ads, and Market Analysis Understanding that we couldn’t afford to complicate the website development with time to spare, we opted for Shopify. This proved to be a wise choice, allowing us to create a sleek, operational website in just a few days without any coding hassles. We integrated all the ad campaign tracking tools right away, which quickly reduced our customer acquisition costs. The site was both professional-looking and functional from day one, which was essential for the florists who couldn’t miss any sales opportunities. The Results: A Flourishing Success The outcome was astonishing. In their very first month, they generated $35,000 — impressive for a new flower shop that was previously unknown! The website was not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly effective, converting nearly 3.5% of visitors into paying customers, each spending an average of $137 per order. Initially, our ads cost $80 to acquire a single customer, but we managed to reduce that to $26 on Facebook and $30 on Google. For the full article, visit our website: bloom-rush.com

Valentine’s Day triumph: Skyrocketing sales

Luna Flowers Denver

The challenge: Maximizing Valentine's Day potential Valentine's Day is a crucial time for florists, akin to the Super Bowl—a high-stakes week that can generate a month’s revenue in just a few days. However, it’s also a competitive environment where even minor errors can lead to lost sales and dissatisfied customers. Our client approached us with a specific goal: to surpass their previous Valentine's Day performance without the usual holiday stress. The competition was fierce, with all local florists vying for the same clientele, bombarding social media with similar "Valentine's Special" promotions. To stand out, we needed a unique strategy. Our solution: A strategic, multi-channel approach While other florists were still dismantling their Christmas displays, we were busy developing our Valentine's Day strategy, starting in mid-December—two months prior to the event. We analyzed the performance of the previous year: identifying which bouquets sold best, when order spikes occurred, and where customers dropped out during checkout. This investigative work revealed valuable insights, such as the popularity of "modern" arrangements over traditional roses when properly highlighted. Our advertising strategy was highly focused: we spent just $650 on Facebook, targeting specific groups—newly engaged couples, those with anniversaries in February, and individuals who had searched for "last-minute gifts." This approach yielded 52 sales at a low acquisition cost of $12 each, generating $9,800 in revenue. For Google ads, we invested $3,000 targeting people actively searching for Valentine's flowers, resulting in 82 sales totaling $13,000. All ads utilized urgent language, like "Last day for guaranteed delivery!" and "Only 8 Deluxe bouquets left!" Results: A memorable Valentine’s Day • Website traffic more than doubled, with 4,693 visitors compared to 2,213 the previous year • The conversion rate increased from 3.7% to 4.71%, indicating more visitors made purchases • The average order value rose from $104 to $146.73 (a 40% increase in spending) • Total sales reached $37,462.77, an impressive 88% growth.
