IoT Product: U by Moen

Moen presented us with a groundbreaking concept: to develop a digital shower experience that gives users full control over duration, temperature, and their morning routine. Through our user-centered design (UCD) approach, we assisted Moen in creating a product that enables users to start the shower from their smartphones, automatically adjusting to their individual preferences (like temperature). The shower heats up to the desired level and pauses until the user arrives, which reduces water waste. Once inside, users can activate the water flow using the U by Moen controller mounted on the shower wall, allowing for a customized shower experience. It also includes a timer feature to prevent lengthy showers and supports various presets, so the entire family can enjoy their tailored shower experience. Sanj Moghe, Director of Strategic Innovation / Advanced Product Development, noted, "Blink was crucial in helping us uncover consumers' genuine needs and desires for a Wi-Fi connected shower. Since this is the first product of its kind on the market, we aimed to make it exciting for users, and Blink played a key role in achieving that." In January 2017, Moen unveiled the U by Moen™ shower at CES, receiving enthusiastic reviews.

SAAS Product Suite Redesign: LogRhythm

LogRhythm, a prominent player in security intelligence and analytics, enables organizations worldwide to swiftly identify, address, and eliminate serious cyber threats. Their award-winning platform integrates next-generation SIEM, log management, network and endpoint forensics, and advanced security analytics. Despite its robust capabilities, the company's flagship desktop software was not user-friendly enough for the market, leading to stagnant sales and high support costs. To tackle this issue, the LogRhythm team partnered with Blink to broaden their customer base and enhance user satisfaction by developing a web application that offers an exceptional user experience, balancing capability, efficiency, and ease of use. The resulting product achieved notably higher performance and usability, featuring an innovative search capability that enabled LogRhythm's clients to confidently implement the system for a much larger user base. The end product surpassed expectations and satisfied customers during the pilot phase and beyond. This allowed LogRhythm to increase customer satisfaction, tap into new revenue opportunities in a challenging market, and provide a new generation of security intelligence tools.
