Black Unicorn PR was established in 2018 by Julija (JJ) Jegorova, who, after over ten years of PR experience both in-house and at an agency, including serving as Head of PR for a London startup, recognized the need for a fresh approach. This new approach aims to better assist startups and fast-growing tech companies. Unlike traditional client-agency dynamics where PR teams may check in occasionally but largely remain invisible, we prefer to integrate seamlessly into our clients' teams, acting as their ‘remote PR department.’ We work closely with founders, stepping into their shoes to fully understand their business, thus fostering a coherent team dynamic. Our expertise lies in startup and tech PR, with a focus on delivering value through knowledge of journalists, editors, event organizers, podcasters, and more. While our remote team is spread across the globe, our core expertise and passion are rooted in Europe. Our team consists of seasoned PR professionals, and we never delegate accounts to junior managers, as we don’t have any.
