Graphiq is a digital platform designed to facilitate these connections, linking top-tier designers with global enterprises. Based in Oslo, the company has been recognized as one of the best startups in Norway and has partnered with notable brands like IBM, Microsoft, McDonald's, and Samsung. The BinarApps team assigned to this project consisted of three programmers, a project manager, a software tester, and an account manager. They focused on developing version 2.0 of the platform utilizing proprietary software. Our primary objective was to enhance communication between graphic designers and brand representatives requesting projects. Additionally, automating the project workflow was also a significant focus. Our services encompassed both frontend and backend development. We delivered a complete array of tools to replace previously used external modules, such as Slack. Furthermore, we implemented new features and improvements that users had been anticipating. The system was developed with cutting-edge technologies, including React, Redux, Apollo, RxJs, Node.js, Express, GraphQL, and Prisma/Graphcool.

To create their best work efficiently, filmmakers require new digital tools that facilitate quick, easy, and precise production processes. Drylab, an intuitive software developed in Norway, serves this need by acting as an innovative shot management system that automatically distributes images to all connected devices. Users can view all collected materials through an interface tailored to their specific roles on set. Effective communication on a film set is crucial for the overall quality of the final product. The story requires careful attention from various individuals, moving from the script to the set and ultimately to the editing room. However, the fast-paced nature of the industry can lead to overlooked details. The primary challenge was to develop an app that functions seamlessly on both Android and iOS platforms. Ensuring speedy data uploads and a user-friendly interface was essential for the success of Drylab. BinarApps' involvement encompassed several aspects, including frontend development utilizing APIs provided by the client, web application development, iOS and macOS application development, and backend development. As a result of our efforts, Drylab now offers four solutions: Drylab Viewer (which provides access to all clips from any location, along with frame sharing and metadata), Drylab Creator (which receives clips and metadata from the camera, as well as metadata from the Set Report), Set Report (which gathers manual metadata during filming and enhances overall metadata quality and consistency), and Admin (which aids in managing productions, users, and permissions). Drylab has supported over 200 film and television productions and is highly regarded by creatives on sets worldwide, including leading filmmakers such as those involved in George Clooney's series, Catch-22.
