Application for Caregivers for Families
Our team partnered with a startup in the Bay Area to create and launch a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for a web-based caregiving marketplace. This dual-sided platform links families looking for caregiving services with professional caregivers, aiming to enable safe, efficient, and meaningful interactions. By focusing on strong engineering practices and prioritizing user requirements, we successfully introduced the platform in the Bay Area, keeping scalability and growth in mind. We collaborated with the client to outline a comprehensive array of features that would address initial user needs and establish a solid groundwork for future expansion. Our team incorporated functionalities such as User Registration and Onboarding, Search and Discovery, Booking and Scheduling, Payments, and Notifications and Alerts. The platform was built on a robust technology stack, including TypeScript, Node, and React, which offered the necessary flexibility and performance to handle a high volume of simultaneous users with a load time of under three seconds. A group of four engineers worked on this project, focusing on clean, modular code to ensure future scalability. We prioritized data security through SSL encryption, secure password storage, and third-party payment integrations to safeguard user information and foster trust within the platform.
