Integrated marketing for Nike & LTA’s #TennisTuesdays

After a successful pilot program, the LTA assigned us the task of implementing their Tennis Tuesdays initiative across the nation through a new integrated marketing campaign. In collaboration with Nike, Tennis Tuesdays offers weekly coaching sessions at outdoor tennis clubs throughout the country, specifically for women of all skill levels. Following the relevance of Sport England’s This Girl Can campaign, this initiative was more pertinent than ever. With valuable consumer insights at our disposal, we were equipped to uncover the essence of the project and encourage more women to register. The solution: "Tuesday isn’t good for me." Modern women lead busy, diverse, and stressful lives. Tennis Tuesdays provides a consistent time slot just for you—offering an opportunity to relax, alleviate daily stresses, improve fitness and skills, and meet new people—all within a short distance from home or work. We aimed to highlight the joy of being unavailable due to another personal commitment. "Tuesday isn’t good for me" because Tuesday is truly a time for me. Launched in April 2015, sessions quickly sold out and demonstrated impressive repeat sign-ups, which is a crucial performance indicator for the initiative. The program garnered national, regional, and consumer media coverage worth over £250,000 in advertising equivalent value, representing a nearly 400% increase year over year. Additionally, almost a quarter of participants continued playing tennis after completing the six sessions of the program. Redefining an industry with Foxtons

In the competitive and congested realm of real estate, Foxtons aimed to innovate and disrupt the traditional model. Our first task was to create a distinctive branding for their fleet of vehicles. We recognized that this endeavor could go beyond simply placing a logo on a car, leading to the development of the ‘Team Foxtons Mini,’ which made a significant impression on the streets of London. The subsequent challenge involved a complete rebranding to establish the most recognizable and dynamic identity in the industry. The objective was to ensure that Foxtons not only ranked as London's finest, oldest, or largest estate agency but became the definitive choice for Londoners. We designed storefronts that acted as 'living billboards,' eye-catching sale signs, and marketing strategies like Sunday Market, 0% Commission, and ‘Rare’ magazine to consistently promote the brand and stay ahead of rivals. Foxtons caters to a clientele living fast-paced, time-constrained lives who expect results. BEAR was appointed the exclusive creative agency in 2001. Since that time, the iconic mini cars and café-style offices have transformed the industry, propelling Foxtons from being just another player to the leading brand. Foxtons achieved a sale price of £390 million in 2007, with its brand becoming a crucial asset on its financial statements. More than 15 years later, we are still collaborating with Foxtons, focusing on developing tone of voice guidelines and creating engaging campaign copy.

A brand refresh for music powerhouse, PPL

As part of its 85th anniversary celebration, PPL enlisted the services of brand communications agency BEAR to update and enhance its brand identity and positioning. Having previously collaborated with PPL on the branding of PPL PRS Ltd.—a joint venture with PRS for Music that provides a unified license called TheMusicLicence for businesses wanting to use music—BEAR's challenge was to elevate the identity of this influential music organization as it enters a new chapter. The agency was tasked with making sure that PPL's brand and website effectively communicated its role in the music industry, both in the UK and globally. The objective was straightforward: to give back to music, although the previous identity fell short of conveying this mission. To advance, PPL aimed to transform its identity for clearer communication of its purpose. The solution was evident: PPL's members create music, and their licensees—ranging from shops and clubs to gyms and hotels—play it. Realizing the potential in this familiar imagery, BEAR aimed to highlight these symbols prominently. By putting these elements at the forefront, they developed a distinct brand for PPL. Along with a brighter color scheme, a revamped logo, dynamic photography, and a new website, BEAR crafted a refreshed brand that resonated with the industry while maintaining PPL’s strong commercial presence.
