OUR STORY
After a decade of working with legacy BI platforms that struggled to keep pace with modern data teams and often compromised data governance by copying warehouse data, we created Astrato. This innovative data apps platform operates directly on leading cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks. Founded by Martin Mahler, an aeronautical engineer turned BI veteran who previously built Vizlib for Qlik Sense, Astrato was designed from its inception to fit seamlessly into the modern data stack. It enables rapid, cost-effective development of advanced, interactive analytics applications that combine pixel-perfect visualizations with powerful features such as write-back and action capabilities.
