I'm Ashton, a freelance 3D artist and graphic designer located in Calgary, focusing on custom product visualization, packaging mockups, and motion graphics for brands and branding agencies. My foundation is in graphic design, which ensures that everything I create is built on solid design principles before entering the rendering phase. Over time, I transitioned into motion and animation, which naturally led me to 3D, and I haven't looked back! I manage the entire process myself, including modeling, texturing, lighting, and final rendering, which helps maintain a seamless, consistent, and collaborative workflow. I primarily work as a contractor with consumer brands and branding agencies to design custom 3D mockups for product launches, case studies, and award submissions. Unlike smart object templates or AI-generated content, everything I produce is tailor-made from scratch to fit the specific dimensions, materials, and brand identity of each project. This results in visuals that are as thoughtfully crafted as the projects they represent. Whether it’s showcasing packaging in a realistic setting, animating a logo, or presenting a product in motion, I aim to create eye-catching visuals that compel viewers to stop scrolling. Based in Calgary, I am available for remote work and am open to both one-off projects and long-term contractor relationships.
